Brilliant OceanFun, Five Stars. First started enjoying your site in early 2005. Much appreciated over the years thank you, well done keeping it going for everyone. Wishing you a safe and merry Xmas with your family & friends. Terry

hi guys would really appreciate the view out of your web cam this summer to keep an eye on the waves cheers Gonz

hi guys your web cam is frozen has been for nearly two weeks cheers Gonz

We have been using the Bite Times book for at least 15 years. It is always accurate (though sometimes in the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, there is over fishing, leading to lots of undersized or no fish). We are able to target our fishing times to the bite times so we have success. More recently our family members have been using it for hunting, where it has also been successful. Thanks once again.

Hi guys your webcam is frozen cheers

hi guys your web cam has been frozen for ages , would really apperciated if could be fixed as it gives a good idea of what the swell is doing at mungas to head down to get wet cheers

hi guys your webcam frozen again enjoy and thanks

hi guys just letting you know the cam is frozen again thanks enjoy

i emailed before regards webcam . its frozen again cheers

i look at your surfwatch cam regularly but it seem to be frozen from 14/9/23 would you please have a look at it , much appreciated

OceanFun reply

Yes, it is frozen. Sorry about that. The building it's bolted to is getting a full-on renovation and the cabling keeps suffering mishaps. Worse still, I'm 2 hours drive away so I can't dash over there and fix it up. Keep an eye on it, it will be back up soon, I hope

We fish mostly at the mussel farms or in Hauraki Gulf. We have been buying both tide times or bite times every year ever since they were available. When they were first sold at service stations and some shops. Which is many years ago. The bite times are very accurate. We have also converted relatives onto using them. Thanks once again.

How accurate Is the nz tide book they are different to the met service tide information.the height of the tide and time are different.thankyou Peter.

OceanFun reply

Hi Peter, without knowing exact details we can't comment on the differences you see but please bear in mind that predictions are not precise and that a time difference of less than about 5 minutes is insignificant in terms of the sea level - just a few cm at most.

Aloha, I was wondering how to go about submitting some captures for future calendars with scenic views in Hawaii. Mahalo, Melissa

OceanFun reply

Hi Melissa, We'll get back to you by email.

Many Thanks for this Great site. We use it for swimming on the west coast. We only swim on the incoming tide. Also use it for fishing at Kellys Bay.

Great Site. I have 32 sites in favourites,OFP is used the most...

Most awesome tide website ever.Has helped me slay many Paua. My tummy thanks you forever. Cheers.

Great site. I check out the tides to plan my fishing trips Only suggestion is can you add sunrise/set times? Cheers

OceanFun reply

Our other tide site, tidespy.com, has a full complement of data, including sunrise & set times

brilliant site, especially for our kayaking trips, i`ve nailed this buggar on my favourites.....10/10 team.

Brilliant site - easy to read, all the info required. great service, keep up the good work.

what a fantastic service thank you very much

Thanks for the tide graphs. I use them all the time.

First time user, will let you no what the outcome is for Sunday 14th, wish me luck people..........

I like it

awesome site, first time I have visited, but will become one of my regular spots to visit from now on

Awesome tide times graphs I use this all the time and recommend to others, keep up the good work:)

Awesome job people, always look at your graph before heading out, keep up the good work!

Thanks again for a great web tool - I use this whenever I go fishing and it's never put me wrong Cheers guys !

Great site, great service, looking forward to the iPhone app

Great site for checking out the tide times and the graph also always a way to look in to the future and work out which days are best for fishing and the biggest and lowest tides, great to because you can see the difference in tides for most locations, nothing worse than going to a place to collect sea food and you have missed the tide by an hour. I use the site all the time well done!

I've been using this site for about 5 yrs now - even have it on my mobile's WAP! Great job! BTW, is there any way you could put in sunrise/sunset times in the graph? Cheers

I wish I had found this site a long time ago, great range of info available .......awesome.

Beutifull view. I looking at this from Georgia(USA) THANKS.

Have used this site for last 5 years for H/Ts for my Surf Casting. Living beside the Tasman sea its 100% accurate for my area.

crap site couldn't change the month to display May tides for Auckland colours were really gay couldn't read pink against green see you

OceanFun reply

Hey hey, our first complaint. No you can't go beyond May, we want you to buy our products. And Pink on green?? Ain't no pink on green here, check your monitor.

Thanks for the first class info. Also useful to Sky-Pilots of light aircraft and microlights, who like to use beaches for landing strips. A cert for the Favorites list this one, cheers

Fantastic site - have been using for a couple of years. Accurate and relevant to my little corner of the world. Now, can you please instruct the fish to conform - the people that are concerned about over-fishing have no worries with me, the fish see me coming and it is mince for dinner everytime!!

just found this site,,,,,wow, on my favourites now

Awesome been using this site for a few years now. Cheers

what is a good tide height to leave motunau to get over the sand bar an return also thanks

OceanFun reply

Sorry, we have no idea. We can only provide the height of the tide. Try asking the locals.

Hi people, good book use it often. I wonder if I can ask a question? I live in the Queen Charlotte Sound and I have noticed many times that every now and again the Picton/ Tory Channel tide drops back a much bigger time difference than the usual amount? Take for instance this month 16th Jan, the tide is in at 6-53pm and the next tide at 8-36am in the morning a drop of 1hr 43mins? Then again on sunday 30th a drop of 1hr 12mins. I have lived and boated in Auckland and in Brisbane Australia, but have never run into this strange tide change before? Do you know why this happens?

Just received your NZ Herald TIDE CHART and there are errors in the April and August Years. Quite glaring and questions the Proof Reading.??

OceanFun reply

Our apologies for this; some of the year headings done by NZ Herald say 2010 rather than 2011. All tide charts we supplied to NZ Herald are for 2011.

Bloody good site. I use it all of the time for fishing, swimming, drowning, getting married on the beach, crossing tidal areas and cheching the depth of water in lighthouse basements that I may coma across in meters (Or feet and inches) Thanks guys. Kilarney

great info provided in good Kiwi common sense way - well done!

No month of September

OceanFun reply

Where? All the Septembers I can see look fine to me.

excellant site i use it all the time

Great site, have it saved as a menu bar favourite. But have just checked out your new TideSpy site, it's awesome!

its great helps me get out fishing at the tide

Want to plan a few weddings in October that the venue overlooks the estuary in Raglan. What are the tides are around about then. I seem to only get up to April? But otherwise great site

This is a terrific site. Thank you for providing this information. Cheers Barry

I found it easy to read and helpful for what i wanted when i finally found this site. Now i'll definately be back here for my needs next time. Thanks :)

Great graphics and very easy to read. Would be greatly improved if background could display daylight hours - i.e. black between sunset and sunrise and fading into daylight, and also phase of moon.

OceanFun reply

We've been busy! All you want (and more) can be found on our new TideSpy site (for Auckland for instance) at http://tidespy.com/OnePlace.php?p=3005

comment6,

Absolutely brilliant. Exactly what I needed. Thanks

Fantastic service - keep up the good work. I use the site on a daily basis.

I run our aquaculture business based on your tide charts. This appear to be the most convenient, user friendly and accurate tide site. Our oyster farm working times are based on the tide levels and time. Your site certainly helps us run our business more efficiently. Thank you for the service!

Excellent free site, could be improved by hooking up to network of ocean sonar tracking probes to let us fellas know the live time position size and feeding mood of good eating fish species!!?

Love the tide chart, love it lots.

How come you don't list Waikouaiti or Warrington..it would be useful

OceanFun reply

Thousands of places would be useful but sometimes we don't have the data to compute them. In your case you are lucky, our new TideSpy site has Waikouaiti. Click here to see.

Hi, nice page but the map is partially obscured by the Google ad on the right hand site so i can't click or select Nelson. I am running the latest version of Firefox. Cheers.

One of the best and most usefull sites I have come across

Please advise tide at waikato river mouth and west coast today?

Thanks heaps u all..Awesome graphics & so many places!

I like to eat fish

As a Waikuku Beach resident it's great to be able to check the tide height and time before going for a walk or jog down the beach. Especially as it is quite hard to get the tide times for here without adding or subtracting from Lyttelton. Thank you very much.

Hi All, Fantastic site. Not only a lot of good info, but gets the juices flowing for traveling. PLease write back when you get a chance.... Steve, Mojave Desert, Calif,USA

Excellant site you have made it easy and very user freindly Thank You well done

Great site..easy to use and understand...great for working out when I can take the kids fishing. Thanks so much.

You have a really great site. Best I have used over the years thanks

Great site, really helpful with exact locations, making planning our fishing either from land or boat that much easier. Surely the teachers who need to plan way out can use an approimate date, then finalise it 2 months in advance, 2 months from my kids teachers is plenty of notice for trips. I think they're just being picky. Thanks Ocean Fun.

This site is A1 and works great with Mozilla Firefox everyone should go Firefox its way superior to internet explorer. Cheers and thanks.

as you no longer have tide times for more than a month ahead your site is no longer any good to me as I only used it once a year to plan a school trip. Such a shame as it used to be the best place to get tide information.

Loved the site for years. Shame I can't use it now to plan school trips a month or so in advance. Also the new graphics don't appear to work that well using Safari on Mac

The best thing around for planning fishing trips

I'm looking for New Zealand's NUMBER ONE GOAT HUNTING GUIDE, DIGBY JOHANSEN. This is your only Yank from the states looking for an update on how the Goat Hunting is going.Send me an e-mail Digby so we can catch up, [email protected]. A few more years and my family is heading over for a hunt. The boys are a little youg but there nearing the age. Please, if anyone knows Digby's whereabouts, tell his Yank Mate from Washington State wants him to check in. He lives in Waihi, or at least he did when we last spoke. Thank You. Tim Barker

Just moved to west Auckland and had problem figuring out tides for the little swimming beaches around here, at Titirangi and French Bay which are best to use at full tide. Finally decided upon Onehunga or Manukau Heads as Auckland info is wrong (even though I live in Auckland). Could you please have a category for Auckland west coast beaches please for new jafas like me - thanks for great site!

simply the best tide charts on the net , i check the tides everyday and fish accordingly and i always have a great catch....good work guys i love this site 5 stars from me ...cheers

awesome site, i dont go fishing without checking out the graphs! top job!

Awesome site easy to use, good work fellas.

Many thanks a great service

Great work - thanks from Motueka

I go to my region, and the calendar only gives option for feb & march - how do I get december??

OceanFun reply

You buy the book from our online shop :-)

Hi what time high tide of sumner surf beach today? thanks

Which Port should i go by when determinig tide predictions when at Cornwallis? Onehunga or Manukau Heads? Since Cornwallis is inside the harbour, I'd use Onehunga and subtract 10 or so minutes. Onehunga tides are computed for the wharf, whereas Manukau Heads times are related to open coast.

Just what I wanted to know re tides at Urenui (Taranaki)for the next few days. Thanks

Love the new map - not been fishing much lately but summer is here and the new truck is finally finished and willing Cheers

dissapointed, looked up tide times and there is no graph!

The best site in New Zealand for anything to do with the Ocean. Thank you very much People.

Very good for displaying tides on my Black berry

Thanks for a great site - use it especially to find times of low tides for runs along the beach at Spencerville, just north of Christchurch. Cheers.

Hey took me quite a few stabs on that tiny little map to bring up an area close enough for the scroll to include Onehunga. What about a bigger map for us older visually impaired fisho's. Sure there is probably instructions on how to enlarge the map but life's too precious at my age to read the small print on everything I do.

OceanFun reply

Ok, specially for you, there is now a bigger map. It's based on the Google maps and gives you a much more accurate way to pick places, plus you can zoom in and see exactly where you are. Some of the markers are a wee bit off-beam but we'll get them fixed up over time. Check it out here.

uh, sorry. just realised my computer is wiping cookies after each session.

Is it possible to make one location a default location, so I don't have to select the place each time? It's a terrific site. Thanks.

Your site is fantastic, since ive been useing this site im so upto date with all tides, there's no troubles its fast & easy and i have recommended it to many friends. Thanks for Great public service.

All i want to do is get a tide, not have to muck around changing settings to get faster loadings etc. Please just keep it simple.

OceanFun reply

Nobody should have to muck around with settings, unless it's to get Java going. If you have a slow (dial up) connection then it's going to be slow anyway. I'd be interested to know how we could make it any simpler. However if you want really simple then just use http://ofu.co.nz/wap

thanks so much for this site, it is awesome to be able to get what time tides are way down south,i have allready recommended this to our friends.

You're site is great. It's easy to use & it lets me check when it's low tide at various dog beaches around Wellington & up the line making walking the dog a bit more fun. Thank you. Debbie

Thank you so much, not many have New Plymouth, easy to use and straightforward. Just what is needed. Thank You again.

An addendum to my message below. I've have just browsed the string below and found your previous responses to the Safari/Opera use by Mac users .. usual story; I shoot first read the string later! Looks like I'll rely on Firefox for tides then. Thanks for a great public service Peter

Hi Guys, I have been an enthusiastic user for quite some time now .. using Firefox. I started using Opera recently and the tide wave doesn't show on the graph. So as a test I tried Safari, and that also doesn't show the tide wave, plus the images are overlapping. Is it me? Is it something I said?! I'm overlooking the Manukau at Cornwallis .. kinda half way between Onehunga and the Heads .. I guess I'll have to go to all the trouble of turning my head anad looking out the window to see what the tide is doing! But planning ahead requires me bringing out the old chrystal ball again .. or I could always crank up Firefox I suppose. Cheers, Peter

Perfect - finally know exactly when to go to Taylors Mistake

this website is great!! this is the first one i have found with waikawa's own tide times - just great!! thank you :)

This website is cool

Great site to get secondary area tides. Very useful for those out of the way rocky coastal areas for diving.

magic.no troubles.accurate

This site is magic. At last I can get accurate tide times for Baileys Beach. Well done and many thanks.

Love the WAP page you have, but have you guys thought of doing something like oceanometer.com have with a java app? Would be great when on a road trip just to punch in a location and time and get the tide for there. I'd rather pay money to someone local than to some americans for that!

This site is great. I travel a bit and like to walk on the beach, i can know in advanc what times i can walk the beach at low tide pretty much anywhere i go round the country. Its great to sort my walking schedule days inb advance so i can fit my other things around it... thanks you people are awesom.

this is an awesome site, very informative

This just such a great site. My wife and I are traveling NZ in our caravan and enjoy going for a fish from the beaches and rocks. Your site allows us to just about estimate tide times anywhere we happen to be. Brilliant!

YOur site is good but would even better if 1 there was more exacct time scale to read off the times 2 more information for different locations and 3 the moe specific location charts sowing low tide in the afternoon weren.t partly covered by the box to be entered to specify the pace.

I have got so many customers ringing Land Infomation of NZ asking for tides accross the country and sometime I'm struggling to offer them some Tides Web site detail to help them with their search. Given that I just pop into this web to find out the simple low and high tides for Kawhia and BINGO! I'm just so rapt how easy it is to navigate and gets the information. Keep up the excellent work and your information might save someone life out there in the water. I'm going to pass this web site to my friends and families and even my customers. Thank You.

This is the best site that I have come across as I need it for when I take horse treks down the beach and its so easy to just click on to let my guests know when its low tide for that day, as I also have a Lodge at Baylys Beach and they just love those long walks, its fantastic thank you.

Great site really good to have the tides represented graphically. I have noticed for Nelson tides ofu tide heights (from your tide flash page) are different to LINZ site tide heigts. E.g.Fri 31 Aug LINZ 0.2 4.3 0.2 4.5 Ofu 0.1 4.29 0.1 4.39 A 100mm discrepancy at the top and bottom of some tides. Visualy inspecting the heigts on the graphs with the scale apears to agree with the LINZ data but when you click on the gaph the displayed height is about 100 mm lower than you would expect.

OceanFun reply

Thanks for taking the time to document this. I have checked back to the official figures and I'm pleased to say that ours are closer to the official heights than the ones on the LINZ site. There are two things to note here. The difference is actually much smaller than 100mm - taking the first height as an example, the official height is 0.14 which gets rounded to 0.1. The LINZ site height may well be 0.15 (I don't know though) which would round up to 0.2 and put the actual discrepancy at 0.01 which is less than the error we can expect to occur. LINZ do use a different method to calculate tides on their website so small differences may be seen. While 100mm may seem a lot, it is near the limit of accuracy we can expect from tide predictions, since tides are affected by winds and atmospheric pressure on top of any systemic errors in the prediction process. Attempting to calculate to accuracies much better than 100mm could be considered futile.

Great site very useful to me living on Kawau Island. I have noticed just recently however that the Height predictions have been way out for Kawau...any ideas?...Cheers

OceanFun reply

Well spotted. For a small number of places, the second and fourth high tide of each day could incorrect by a few minutes, or up to 30 minutes in extreme cases. In the case of Kawau Island, the tide was reported 21 minutes late. This problem has now been corrected.

This site is fantastic and has been invaluable to us when arranging open homes and viewings to sell our home which is at the edge of the Te Puna estuary Many thanks.

this is an awsome site, we have been using this site for a long time now and have found the information to be accurate at all times. we have been able to tides for all our favourite fishing spots aswell as kai moana around the whole country, WELL DONE TO THE WEB MASTERS... Bigg Up's 4 This Site..!

Excellent site. Will you be extendingthe WAP to include secondary areas?

This is an excellent service. Thank you.

People will have noticed that Google Ads are popping up everywhere. Sorry about that but you'll appreciate that it costs a certain amount to run a free website and getting some of that back is necessary for us. We will continue to improve the site as well as our tide graphs which are extremely popular, and we will also keep the ads as unobtrusive as possible. Anything that flashes or jiggles won't be seen anywhere near this website. We also highly recommend the Mozilla FireFox web browser. We use it to develop and test our web pages and suggest you use it too. We specially recommend it for Mac users. Safari just doesn't cut the mustard, and we've pretty much given up trying to make the tide graphs work nicely in Safari. Follow the FireFox link at the bottom of any of our pages. Thanks for your continued use of the site, and with Google AdWords, more is better.

hi love the website but the june 2007 dates are incorrect.

OceanFun reply

Anyone else see a problem? I don't, and Liz ain't replying

Great new screen & wonderful to be able to go straight to Kawhia tides without having to remember whether to add or subtract.

Today we are on a new server, based in NZ rather than the US. It involved several days' work and seems to have gone smoothly. Nobody should really see a difference except that pages will load a lot faster.

Fantastic Guys - This will prove to be a real asset come the mighty whitebait season - well done !

Great site but having trouble getting tides for Marsden Point. They do not load for me, and have not for some time, why not? I now have to use Whangarei as a guide but would prefer Marsden Point as this is where I live. Cheers

Been using the site for a few years now, awesome resource for LBG Fisho's. The new format is MINT!!! Keep it up .

the site always tells my what I need to know about the tides

Absolutely awsome tide gragh....make it our default one...have used the other one for years but this one is excellent. Cheers Colin

Love the site great for picking the best times to go fishing in and around Tauranga. Well Done.

nothing comes up in the window on my mac apart from the header and frame-is this a pc only site? or do i kneed some other software? cheers Bruce

OceanFun reply

Let me guess, you're on a Mac using the Safari browser. Opera and IE work ok, but we are aware of the Safari problem. I'm not sure how long it'll take to track down, but we are working on it when we have time.

thanks for the graphic ...i am doing an assignment about tides in nz...for children author (diploma)malo 'aupito...(thanks in Tongan)

Is there ant reason why the website is so small on my monitor, i.e. half size

OceanFun reply

It depends on your monitor size and rsolution. The site is designed to work correctly on an 800x600 monitor. There are still many of these in common use, though the majority are now 1024x768 or larger. While it's possible to make web pages dynamically expand to fill the monitor, this can be a lot of work and for the web graph we have decided - at least in the short term - not to do that. Does anyone else think it should be bigger?

Great new graphics and format, thanks for the great site, very helpful and easy to use. Cheers, Craig.

Thanks Lindsay for outstanding help, and very quick responses.EXCELLENT!!

OceanFun reply

No worries

Fixed in a flash! Many thanks, a great little tool.

Would it be possible to include Onehunga (the most important location on the Manukau) in the dropdown list when clicking on Auckland? My system no longer 'remembers' my location. Cookies enabled. Cheers

OceanFun reply

Good point, why is Onehunga not there? We have the data, so I'll be adding it shortly See if your location gets remembered now. It was supposed to be remembered for 100 days but it was set to only 1 day. I fixed this yesterday.

xlent keep it up very easy to follow

Super cool!!! Tidewatching for dummies!!

New to tide watch but what an easy way to know tide times. Thanks to those who have set this site up, well done

This is a real improvement on the previous site controls. It's so good having extra tide sites within the two month period. Cheers Team

Great new tide graphs, i like the extra locations, is there any way to bookmark two locations e.g. one east and one west coast ?

OceanFun reply

Not as yet. If there seems to be a demand I'll consider adding a bookmarking feature.

This is a fantastic site and the upgrade is awesome. More local areas make it great on the Naki coastline. This is what the www is all about. Cheers Denni

A good help with sumner tides so i can collect water at high tide for our sea horses thanks

good site makes planing to go fishing much easer thanks, gavin.

This site is fantastic!! I am from Hawkes Bay & wondered if I could find tides for Urenui beach - & hey presto - here it is - just great Many thanks, it is fast to load & so easy to read.

Thank you for your tide charts. We use these frequently for planning our Boating Club events. Regards Sandy Browns Bay Boating Club

This is without doubt the best and most user friendly tide chart we have ever seen and used. We will pass it on to our friends without hesitation.

New chart is great, more places, nice layout. This site is one of my staples. Always check it before I go out. Thank you.

OceanFun reply

It seems that people want the old feature where you can click on the graph and see the height and time, and also the line showing the current time. I have added these features. They work a little differently now - when the page is first displayed, it shows the current day for the last place viewed, with a black vertical line at the current time and the time and height are shown in the graph title bar. If you click anywhere on the graph the time and tide height in the title bar change to reflect the point clicked.

your new graph does not load on Mac OSX Tiger. Does not mention missing plugin. Old graph muchos grandes better.

Hi, I prefer using the original version (has current time line and click-on time/height flags) but cannot get it to remember my preferred port (Onehunga)- it always defaults to Akaroa. I'm using Firefox 2 and cookies are enabled.

Dear web-master ! I looked your site and I want to say that yor very well made it .All information on this site is represented for users. A site is made professionally. So to hold !

Works ok on Firefox for me .. but those handy yellow time tags are missing on the new version. They are useful for me as I am a Cornwallis on the Manukau Harbour. So I add 20 mins .. no idea whether that is accurate though. Still .. I could always just look out the window! Marvellous site though guys. Great for inviting guests out here. I check the site first to select the best day for swimming and beach walking. Moon phases would be nice too .. moonlight walks on the beach. Aaah!

looks great on Microsoft but it doesn't work on Mozilla firefox

I am pleased with the new layout. When I load the page it goes straight to the last location I was on. That's a plus. I know this is a tide graph and sea data thing, but are there any plans to add a solunar calendar ?? There's enough iceing on the cake now but you can never have too much.

I think your efforts have been very worthwhile! Really pleased you ditched Java which speeds up page loading and really chuffed that more ports are available such as Waimakiriri Mouth. On the downside, you don't seem to be able to click on the curve at any point to check time of day for specific state of tide. i.e half between high & low. Sure you can work it out but liked the fact you could just click on the curve previously. Thanks.

Good skills I thought your first tide chart was excellent but this one is even better,I fish out of Motunau and use your site on every trip Thank you Terry

OceanFun reply

Cool, glad you like it. It doesn't use java so it should load faster and give us less problems. The main change is having a graph for all 180 places and being able to choose off a map.

your tide charts sometimes have the wrong information

OceanFun reply

Not that I'm aware of. Your messages never have enough information.

yes, I will be more specific by saying your tide graph needs updating.

OceanFun reply

That still doesn't help me much. It it too old for your taste? Is the data out of date? Do you want to see new background pictures? That said, we are currently working on a new version which will be somewhat simpler to use.

Really appreciate the tide graph for fishing. Well done, recommending site to others:)

pick up your act and update your website

OceanFun reply

I see nothing wrong. Would you like to be more specific?

Nice site, i like it very much! Thank you!

Hi people! Christmas Day falls on December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on December 24, and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day on December 26. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 on the Julian calendar. December 25 as a birthdate for Jesus is merely traditional, and is not thought to be his actual date of birth.Good luck!

OceanFun reply

I'll drink to that!

great site so easy to use, great for planning a day out on the boat, wish the weather was as reliable to plan? keep up the good work, Cheers Peter

Perfect work. I wish my page was so simple and informative.

Hello from Albuquerque, New Mexico!

I just wanted to say that I use your tide graph all the time and find it to be one of the best that I have used. I would like to ask you if there is a chance that you could add the moon data as well and make more than three months of tide data available? Thanks and keep up the good work. Regards. Steve.

Hi January data not working Cheers Trev

OceanFun reply

14 Dec '06 : Sorry about that, fixed now

The data for January is not coming through. Please check website.

Just bought myself more of the best surfing essentials - your tide guides and surf calendars. Always a pleasure to get the goods. Thanks heaps. Look forward to dropping in on yers @ Mangamaunu ;-)

OceanFun reply

It's always great to hear of people using and enjoying our products. Looking forward to seeing you.

Sorry for your time.... Why i can't see images on this resource? My Browser is: Opera. Thank you.

OceanFun reply

This site has not been tested with Opera, only FireFox and IE. We may fix this in the future.

Wow what a cool site will tell my friend and family about this, well done it's made our day

Visiting of your site is the real holiday for me.

Excellent site. Wander if you can put more areas in, as there are quite big differences in time/ tide from one area to another eg; Auckland and Thames. Thames has much bigger tide movement, and other sites list good old Thame (no I'm not from there) but do lots of snokeling round that coast . Cheers

OceanFun reply

The problem is getting information about tide time differences for these places. Generally you can find somewhere nearby and the tides won't be much different. You would have to be say 20 or more kilometres from another place before the time difference exceeds a minute or two.

I am assured that not only I, and others people were happy to find your site!

Am looking to buy an image of people in the water playing and/or fishing at Bayleys Beach or Glinks Gully. Tis for a publication on hazards of West coast waters - thanks

OceanFun reply

I've forwarded your request to people who may be able to help with this. - Webmaster

Hi guys, the tide graph is not displaying anything today might be something wrong with it incase your not aware - thanks!

Would like to see some westcoast sites up and running /very good tho best ive seen for a long time

Hi Good site. I'll be back soon. Thanks for your work. Good bye

I am unable to get whangarei as my default area. I can get Auckland

Site hasnt been working for a few days now.Just thought i would advise you. Trust all Ok jm

I enjoyed the webcam of the lovely beach and this site has everything on it that you need to know when visiting NZ

Wow this web sight is great to find the tides I love to take the bikes down the beach and its allways safe to see what the tide is doing.

Thanks for this! I have a estuary edge property so it's great to know when to schedule BBQs etc and when not to. Also for timing visits to west and east coast beaches. Thanks!

Great site, I love to drive down murawai beach and use your site to plan my trip out. Thanks for making the effort.

Hi great sight i love to go fishing and always had trouble to find out what the tides where. This is so easy to use thanks.

Very helpfull and easier than trying to look up tides on teletext.

Very helpful site, well done. What do I need to load for the interactive graph to display please, is it Flash?

OceanFun reply

No, not Flash. We use Java and you may have to install the Java VM from the Sun website. Go here to download.

This site is great it makes it all so easy, thanks heaps you are added to our favourites list for sure

Very handy. Ta

I can't find out the tide times from this site, yet in other aspects of life I am not considered very stupid. From the page "tide graphs" I don't see a prompt that invites me anywhere nice. What am I missing (apart from the best surfing and fishing)?

Very useful site. Just wondering if it is possible to have the site show current date tide info by default on load. This is especially useful if you have already bookmarked the site to show the location of most interest. Somehow I imagine that this suggestion has been made a lot. So I am guessing its a bit of a hassle to implement? It would save me having to think what today's date is, and also save one mouse click. Not exactly a big deal huh? Cheers, Winton. mysql_error =

needs more info on tides and needs tobe made easyer to find and beable to veiw everything!!!!!!

tide times in south aust

This site is very interesting. Great job. Web site looks very good. I will remember you for my next special event.

Hello. Your website looks good. Nice job :). I am impressed...

Great site. It will be great to work out storing windows for cruise ships. The data for January doesnt seem to be loaded yet?

Any chance of including Port Waikato or Raglan. Huge distance between Auckland @ Port Taranaki. Thanks

Thanks for the interesting and informative site. That\'s definitely what I\'ve been looking for.

I have loved your site for its useful and funny content and simple design.

Thanks for such a great and easy to use site.

Nice page, guys!

why no tide reading for Waihau Bay. We do get a lot of traffic here especially around this time of the year. Your answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank -you

Very useful site. Thank you for making it available to us.

Good website for tides, very useful

Used this site to set up 'seapathfinder watch' so it would show tides in our area. This site was not only helpful but interesting. Keep up the great work!

Have been using this site for about a year now and enjoy it. However, it seems to have changed and I can't view the tide graph now. Any comments?

I am very new to the surfcasting game but am looking forward to it. My wife and I have sold our home and purched a motorhome which ever island we are in will be our back-yard. We will be starting our trip with a vist to the Coromandel area for 2 weeks r&r so have found your site to be of great interest and help keep up the good work. Once in our mobilehome will have a new e-mail adress as will not have a land-line, but will still be able to get your web site as long as in an area where a mobile phone works.

Not a bad site, really. Clean and simple. that\'s what the majority of people needs ;)

Even we oldies can understand it!! Great help - thanks.

Cool site!

You have cool site !

Hi guys Thanks for a well designed, easy to read and use site! Shame you don't have more visitors. Perhaps you could show a link on xtraMSN or something?

OceanFun reply

Actually we do get quite a lot of traffic - over 3000 hits on a good day in summer. Also, high traffic volumes is not a priority for this site, since it's a free service.

cant get october 05

Went to Bayleys beach today (Dargaville). According to your table high tide is Taranaki plus 2.28. That would have made it about 5pm. However high tide was at 2.30pm or there abouts... What's happening, or have I misread something?

OceanFun reply

The Dargaville offsets are calculated for the Kaipara, whereas you are at Bayleys Beach on the seaward side, where the offsets are +20 and -1. That accounts for the discrepancy of a couple of hours or so.

Hi guys, Who stole September 05????

no september???????

OceanFun reply

Yes, I see September on my browser. More information about your problem would be useful

What the hell is going on at your web site? Is'nt September on your calendar?

Oh, and F Slayer: You will find the tides for kapati here: http://ofu.co.nz/graph/offsets.htm Next time, Have a decent look;)

Great tide info guys, Extremely usfull info. I really like the tide book example picture!

no political bull from me. just a commendation on a well thought out and professionally rendered tide graph and times. Can't wait to hook the big one 2morrow. keep up the good work, thank you :-)

OceanFun reply

great site a real help

Thank you for this site, it's made finding seashells a lot easier while in New Zealand...

Great site, love your java tide chart and WAP feature, good stuff.

I am curious as to why tide offsets for Waitaki Mouth are referenced to Bluff when Dunedin is closer?

OceanFun reply

Tide figures for Dunedin are given for the inner harbour which is a long way in from the open sea, and the tides will be affected more by this, than by the open-sea distance to Bluff.

This is such a good site, well done to all involved..

hi mateany idea where i can pick up the tides for ragland. cheers mate

I live in Roma in central Queensland Australia. I am originally from New-Zealand and love to know what is happening with the tides over there. My family own boats, they go fishing at Ruakaka, in North-land, quite often. Nice to know when high and low tide is so I can gauge when they may be out there catching large snapper.

Hi Dear, I am looking for historical tides (Local MSL, MHWL, MHWS, etc.)data around Bucklnads Beach area. Could you please let me know from where I can get them? Thanks.

GREAT SITE ,FAST&EASY TO FIND WAS REAL QUICK VERY HELPFUL WOULD RECCOMEND!! STU

At 4:30pm Thursday 3 March there is no graphs displayed. Is this a temporary hitch?

OceanFun reply

Yes, just a matter of loading up some more tide data.

Hello, you have a great Page! I like it really much. If you like the sun and the sea and want to have really great holidays in spain- ask us! www.javeaholidays.com

Hi We are students from edgewater college and are in the process of an achivement standard for our year 13 Geography class. One of the tasks in this achievement standard is to take a role of a particular group with a veiw point on the issue: Should the number of visitors to the Abel Tasman National park be restricted?. The role we have undertaken are Water Taxi operators and we are trying to get their veiws on this issue. If anyone can help us it will be very much appreciated. Thank you. [email protected]

Have just found your Offsets Page. So Have solved the problem.(just didn't read all the Website) Thanks again.

Just to say thanks - we do a lot of fishing at the Waimakariri River mouth. A conversion would be great. Many thanks.

This is a fantastic site for tidal info. Just love the graph, it's so easy and fun to use. Thank you heaps.

I think that you do a very good job on the tide graphs and i realy like to start shopping soon.

Great Site! Just a wee question, how close are the times for Karaka (or southern Manukau) to the Onehunga times? Many thanks.

OceanFun reply

There are quite a few places called Karaka, three in Manukau. We only have figures for Manukau Heads and Onehunga Wharf, and the wharf gets high tide 20 minutes later than the heads, so anywhere in Manukau Harbour will get it's tides sooner than Onehunga wharf but not more than 20 minutes earlier. You could use 10 minutes earlier than Onehunga tide times as a rule of thumb; since tides don't change much in 10 minutes.

excellent site best ive come across to date

Can anyone please tell me what time is High tide and low tide on Tuesday 15th Feb

OceanFun reply

For what place? Look at our Places list and click the link to se a graph of the tides.

Great site, though cant get tide details for lyttelton, thanks

OceanFun reply

Then tell us what the problem is

does anyone know the dates of the the 2005 Otago Salmon Anglers competition?

This is a excellent site easy to use with good clear graphics friends and I now refer to this site along with the metservice on all fishing trips. Thanks Terry

Excellent site

Top site for checking the tide. Keep up the good work guys

Great site, wish I'd found it sooner. What's happened to Feb '05?

By the way great site. We have a club at www.edive.co.nz can we put a link in to this most vauable site?

My month callender goes dec 04 jan 05 mar 05 no feb and my operating system is windows xp I think

Sincere thanx for a needed site.

Great site. Thanks for the info and easy graphics.

just want to say hello :)

What's a helpful site, esp it helps me to plan my trip !!!!THANKS

Great site. Any chance of including Ragalan? This would be of more use to the Waikato people.

Oopps! Found it there is a conversion.

Great site maybe if more sites could not be added maybe a conversion for say Wairarapa/Cape Palliser to Wellington could be included. Great site and easy to understand.

the days for jan05 seem to be wrong for the dates. Is this a programming error?

OceanFun reply

Yes, this is a problem with Java. We need to rewrite some of the date handling ourselves. In the meantime please ignore the days of the week 21/12/04 - Fixed

Really useful site but it would be improved by displaying today's tides as a default with the option of clicking on calendar for other days. Any chance of including other smaller places (ie, Collingwood, Hub of the Universe) in the standard list?? Thanks

A great site. Internet technology providing a really valuable service. Thank You.

Manga looks a little flat eh haole fun boy, I would like a little more action on the webcam please. It does bring back pleasant memories from a homesick boy in Sydney. G'day Hazel keep up the good work

What an awesome site - couldn't survive without it. Thanks!

Love makes the world go round, but Java makes the tides rise and fall - a great piece of programming guys, many thanks.

hopeless

Thanks for creating such a helpful site - well done!

Hi, Could you please add the Karori Light 'off sets' to your Other Places. Thanks, Ray H.

thx for providing this service!

Great site. If you plan to visit Christchurch NZ check us out at www.gyminasuitcase.com

With the Whitebait season ontop of us, this Tide Graph is the best thing since sliced bread. Thanx to all who help in supplying this data. regards Neil

Great site! I use it heaps. Any chance you could put a link to the offsets page on the main page? Cheers :-)

In the Month drop down only three months are available. Can you please consider having twelve? Thanks, Zane. p.s. Great site.

The tide graphs are fantastic

I'm a school teacher and visit your site regularly. It adds interest to maths lessons but is also a great help for camp planning purposes [fishing...] Sadly now I'm unable to access your site. The screen images don't seem to load fully & I can't get any details. Can you help??

cool but can u add the theory of how tides work please!

OceanFun reply

That's something we've been meaning to do for quite some time, when we have the time to get it done

Hello You offer a great service. Could you just make it a little clearer by a different choice of colours on the tide chart? Its not immediately clear which is high and which is low tide. It would also help to support the visual information with labels e.g. beach and sea. Perhaps also a summary giving high and low tides in text to support the visual informatino

how about a tide chart for wattle bay on the manakau penninsula or maybe one for all the beaches around this ares. i keep making the default setting for manakau heads and i hope by this you mean the habour entrance at manaukau heads.apart from that we have bookmarked your site and uses it at least once a week keep mup the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

that is grate site

how to decide it is a good fishing or bad fishing?

This may seem like a silly question but we buy "Tide Times" Tide Tables for Nelson,Golden Bay, West Coast each year.(Great book.)We are very keen whitebaiters and like to take a couple of weeks each year over October,Alot of guessing on what the tides will be. Why not a Tide Table from January to January. Can you help with times for October,November 2004. Thanks.

Real easy and of good valueto we fishermen THANKS

Excellent site, well done. Very easy and practicle.

this site is 1337 (leet) me and my mate visit the beach atleast 4 times per week, and finally have a 1337 site to find teh graphs

OceanFun reply

Anyone care to decode this?

Just happened to stumble upon your site. Nicely set out and most attractive. Could you please tell me why - for Auckland on 21 Jan 04 - Metservice says 7.34am high tide and you say 7.02am approx?

OceanFun reply

We are currently using a different program for calculating web tide information to the one used for supply to MetService, and the web tides are not as accurate. We will be correcting this in the next week or so.

Living and working in the north west of austraila I punish myself regularly checking out the tides for the taranaki coast to see where I would be fishing if I was at home.

kewl, very prompt and easy to follow. would be great if we could down load for ease of use. well done team!!! :-)

pretty neat web site dude, but just an idea, could you include otaki and manawatu bar's as well in your list as i take my kids there often and this is alot quicker to look up than to try and track down a possibly obsolete booklet printed by the local surfclub@foxton. other than that i find your site very helpful and stimulating. good fishing!

hi me and my frends want to go fishing can uo take us on the boat fishing. And uo can tek us email me pleas and how much this coast?

Thansks for this site - we find it easy to use even for a pair of oldies who still love fishing.

Fantastic site. I also would love to see the moon phases added to the charts as well.

OceanFun reply

Alright already! Everyone wants to see moon phases. Probably not too difficult, I'll see what I can do about it. The moon phase for the date selected is easy; the next phase (NM, FQ, FM, LQ) is a bit harder so don't hold your breath.

I was looking for a site like this and my wish was granted this is a fantastic site everything is so easy to find easy navigation congratulations on a superb site.

Thanks to all at OceanFun for the tide charts.

Gidday Chris, If you use your mouse and click on any edge area of the graph, i.e up the edge of the wave, it will give you the tide height and time at that point. have a good day.

Great site - some requests. 1) Add times of high and low tide to graphs 2) Add height of high and low tide to graphs 3) Allow us to set default to any one of the locations eg Sumner 4) How about a week-ahead (even 3-month-ahead printable) tabular view suitable for printing (good way to get sponsorship perhaps??) NB Big messy surf at the moment - I'll wait 2 - 3 hours till just after low tide and then get out and have some fun

OceanFun reply

We don't publish too much on the website because our core (and paying) business is producing tide charts, books and calendars. Look at the shop page. Read the FAQ for information about your other points.

can't get tide graph for february (east coast north island). Do you get any work done with a view like that from the office.

OceanFun reply

Ok, I'm a bit slow getting the data loaded for February. Should be there now. Bunch of slackers in that office, they only work 10 hour days. You should see the 360 degree view, it's stunning (we'll get a pic of it up on the web site sometime). Hazel's response: "Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, work when people are watching."

It would be great if you could add a chart of phases of the moon as it relates to fishing. Can you ? or can you tell me where I can find one please.

OceanFun reply

Now there's a thought. We know all about moon phases .. I'll see what I can do. Unsure where you might find phase info - but then that's what search engines are for

Hi there - is there a calculation I can use to determine tides at the same time one year in advance? ie. January 2005. Thanks!

OceanFun reply

Um ... in a word ... no. it's kinda complex

Hi Everyone Swells are high around Waihi So Have Fun And Yip....... Kelly Says Hi Wishing you all a Wipe out of a day

HI PEOPLE, COULD SOMEBODY SHOW ME THE WAY BACK TO TOPSIDE PLEASE. WENT LOOKING FOR ATLANTIS AND GOT LOST. JACK SAYS HI

OceanFun reply

Ah, the Dutch Woofer I presume. Topside? Nah, no such place. Stay in Atlantis, I say.

Wow what a great site the format of this site is easy to follow Thanks for making life easy and happy new year to you all.

As an ex-inland-bunny I am happy to look up the tides on your site as I am living now on the coast in Brighton. Happy Coasting, Guys. All the best for 2004.

Merry Christmas Team. Offset time for French Pass is still wrong. You say -2.00hrs. Reality is about -20/25 mins.

I think this is an awesome site, I use it all the time, it's simple fast and far out weigh's any other site like it :)

All I can get is Problems,Guestbook,Disclaimer. No graph.

Thank you for a great site. I am now able to call up the tide information for my husband who is a keen fisherman. We are ex South Africans and now living (for past 2 years) in Auckland New Zealand. Thank you for a most interesting site.

great site ,,we use it all most ever week if not more . good work keep it up ....

I use this sight almost every weekend and even during the week before i go up the coromadel coast getting sea food. This is the best tide chart ive used.

Great site. I am unable to get Jan 04 at Pouto to display. Thanks, Wayne

OceanFun reply

Thanks for letting us know. This is now fixed (as at 11pm 18 Dec 03).

Excellent site!! We use your tide charts every weekend.. thank you so much!!

There appears to be a bug in the 2004 Jan selection. I am running XP and using Microsofts web browser.

OceanFun reply

It's just a matter of us getting the 2004 tide data together and up to the website.

You know what? this is actually the first time I've looked at anything except the home page on this site, a good site but needs a bit of my extra cool graphic work to make it all the better hehehe. also wondering how long it takes Lindsay, Hazel or my Dad to reply to these messages, so... the clock is ticking.........

OceanFun reply

A couple of hours. We're not asleep here you know! --Lindsay

Excellent site Thanks a heap

Thankyou for your good work. We find your site very helpful and accurate .... and VERY easy to use! We refer to it frequently.Appreciated. Pat

A great site, well done, enables entertaining when our property looks it s best, like high tide.

Very useful site when you dont have newspaper or calendar with tide tables. Keep it up.

Good site crew, when are you going to be able to predict when the surf is going to pump ( sorry to see your tidecharts missing from the Daily Telegraph and replaced by a lower standard Bureau of Met one ) Kia Kaha Hazel and haole fun boy

OceanFun reply

Thanks, and yeah, we know. Some newspapers just have no taste!

Your Oct tide chart calendar has the day incorrectly matched to date. Guess you probably already know........

OceanFun reply

It is correct for most people, but on the occasional computer, Java gives us the wrong day. The only way to fix this is to calculate the day ourselves, which I might just take a look at.

Really interesting website. How many hits do you get in an average month?

OceanFun reply

Thousands

Did you receive my letter regarding using your tide calender as the format for diary recording of fishing trips and will you be printing my suggestion ? Kind Regards Murray....the Warkworth whaleman.

Request please?. I am trying to set a fancy new watch. What is the inter lunartidal interval , for Auckland. I have calculated 7hrs 20min from the tables printed in the herald, but I have no idea if I am correct or not. I appreciate the figure has to be accepted as an average. I await yr reply with interest

What about the west coast.

OceanFun reply

I count 13 places on the West Coast that we have tides for. Westport is the only one with a curve but there are 12 others listed under 'other places' for which you can calculate the tides with a time offset.

Do you have tide tables rather than tide graphs.I am wanting Lyttelton Thanks

OceanFun reply

We don't publish tide tables on the internet, but you can purchase them online at www.ofu.co.nz or at many bookstores around NZ.

Any help with high tides around the 16th October would be great thanks, as we are planning on taking the children fishing for the day. Many thanks Sharleena Administrator

Really great site keep up the good work I use it all the time...The secondary ports also great...What else do you need every thing is there....

What an excellent service you have provided. If it were possible to give variation ammounts for areas close to ports listed it would be even better. well done though. regards; geoff

OceanFun reply

There is a list of areas and time offsets at http://www.ofu.co.nz/graph/offsets.htm

A God sent site. Jaime Regan surfs here. I look out for him from East Sussex. England. It may be cheaky but your Webcam keeps us closer. Sincere thanks. Come on Jaime ... and you Sul, Give us a HUGE smile. You'll find the Sumner webcam at this site: http://www.sumnertoferrymead.co.nz/

OceanFun reply

[Webmaster]

I have a Surfcam installed overlooking Clifton Beach at Sumner in Christchurch, and have linked the Surfcam page to your site. The tide graphs will be of great benefit to all who view my page. www.sumnertoferrymead.co.nz Cheers Alister

well done ,,i have finely found a good tide graph site for nz , and one that is user frendly will be using this a lot over the coming months.. thanks a lot paul

We use this thing all the time now for fishing trips. Any possibility you could put Ocean Beach/Bream Head on? Marsden is next closest but not accurate enough and how about Oakura as well? Thanks

Any chance you can reset from NZ daylight saving to NZST. Cheers!

The graphics look great. Is the curve a sine curve? regards John Martin

OceanFun reply

In a few cases the curve may approximate a sine curve but for most places it is quite different. A tide curve is created by adding a set of sine curves together, and there may be up to 140 different curves (called constituents) for any one place.

Y'all might have noticed a few changes - we have moved our hosting to a new company which allows us (amongst other things) to have an online shop. Check it out at http://www.ofu.co.nz/Shop/shopfront.htm. Oh go on, go on, spend up large and make us all rich.

Absolutely brilliant!! Easy to view and easy to use :) Keep up the good work

Hi, wats up? This place is really cool but where is Age Of Mythology? I like Age Of Mythology because you can kill people and they can kill you!! :) P.S. i have recently escaped from a mental hospital!!

Thanks, I use the site regularly doing a printout which I pin on our guests' activities wall so they can see how the tide may affect their kayaking or sea shore walks. It would be great to have the notes at the bottom compacted so it all prints out on one page. Cheers.

I am a first time caller! and is was so easy i felt like i knew what i was doing. Had to do two shots ,1) Auckland 2) Whangerei. somewhere in between has to be a good time to go kayak fishing at Sandspit!

just watch the days date displayed when you look at the day you click on it the next days tide displayed

Excellant site. We use the tide graph often for our fishing outings. Keep the good work up. A bit more on the Waimak mouth in Canterbury would be good. Now we have to catch some fish.

Great site, going straight onto my Favourites.Very useful Tide & Weather info. To Campbell Ellison, I would suggest you release the grip on yourself and allow more blood to your brain, and you might be able to absorb the information in front of you!

Note to Hudson Moody below: you can see whether tides are springs or neaps by scrolling through neighbouring days and watching the tidal range change.

Excellent site; I am coordinating a coastal marine pollution survey and have used it to help plan sampling.

no feb

There is no February 03 . It jumps straight to Mar 03??

Great site. Have tide charts on my desktop for daily use. regards

neat background !!!!! Cheers........Blair

Hey u guys and gals............thanx for this great site which now looks a great deal more user friendly. I've been accessing the site for ages, cheers again !.

Tells us when we can ski on the tidal river. Added to favourites straight away.Keep it up.

Great changes to the site - I've been using the site for some time now particularly for fishing lower north Island areas. The changes you have made to the site make it far easier to use and gain information from - particularly the additonal areas. - Thanks and good on you.

I enjoy fishing but don't have the time to sit around all day. With the tide calender I have been planning my trips to start fishing two hours into am incomming tide with a steep slope and have got good fish on every one of the last four trips lasting of between 2 and 4 hours.

At last my mate Phil Bailey has directed me to a web site worth looking at. Nice going mate

What more could I ask for? Just what I need. Thanks, people and keep up the good work.

Wonderful site

OceanFun reply

But a little unsure of themselves.

Useless piece of rubbish

OceanFun reply

Great Site, very user friendly. Should be a good day at the beach tomorrow. Cheers

Great Site, very user friendly. Should be a good day at the beach tomorrow. Cheers

Great Site, got the fish to prove it, keep it up

Great site. As a keen recreational fisherman fishing around Cook Strait,I am always wanting to know whether it is springs or neaps. Perhgaps you could consider adding this information to your wonderous graphics. A graph for the Mana/Plimmerton area would also be appreciated as the tide height is considerably different to Taranaki. Thanks in anticipation.

This is a impressive site, because it is so easy to read and understand.

Very useful. Graphic representation is great for visual types. Tide corrections for important places like Canterbury river mouths would be great.

first visit to your site- I like the format and as a windsurfer this is going to be very helpful to me. thanks

thank you for a good service let me check the tide info before I return to NZ for Christmas holidays Merry Christmas to all

Thank you for this service it is so easy to use and understand, no excuses for the kids now i can plan in advance for them to get ready on whitch day best suits all of us thanks

Hi as a photographer for Open2view, i am often needing to know the tides so I can get that shot when the tide is at a certain level. Your site is excellent, it saves me having to purchase the tide books every month etc, and as I am working on the internet anyway, it is very handy. Thanks heaps.

Good easy site to use. Guess you missed out on selling me a tide book this year!!!.

Well done!! I have been using this site every weekend and week nights for 3yrs. love the upgrade. Thanks and happy boating (oops and fishing)

Supurb site! Been using it since day one, love the upgrade. Well done.

what would be the nearest port to Motuihe island. by the way this is a great site. used daily .

OceanFun reply

Use Waiheke Island, tide times will be within a few minutes which is of no consequence ... Lindsay

Excellent... Now I don't have to remember to change to my port and add daylight saving!

Good stuff, just checking to see about when to try for some 'xmas Paua. ( Work BBQ )

Excellent facility. Gotta get those Wanganui bar crossing times right - eh RTR!

EXCELLENT SITE THANK YOU SO MUCH IT,S A GOOD 1

Excellent site, We use it all the time before setting out, (now if it would only tell me where the fish are).

I have been using your graph for around 2 years and it just seems natural to "click" on your site for each of our charters. We have put your link on our web site as it is a great source of info for folks to check out what conditions will be at the time of their charter. Excellent site! Great looking up-date.

lyns you done proud, maybe stars and stripes will do the same! well used by me so lets go catch fish at Motukawanui eh!

Excellent web site Thanks Very much

I love the new version with the daylight saving update.Thank you for providing this web site.

Great little tide graph easy to use, makes planning the trip a bit easier

Thank you for helping me find the tide times. We are studying tides, fishing and things about the sea

Congratulations on your fine site. It is very user friendly and easy to follow.

I guess it did work. Now all I have to do is sit back and wait for the gripes to come in. Maybe I'll be really lucky today and get a favourable comment or two.

I'm adding a comment to my own guestbook to see if it works.
